Moving Right Along

This is my 25 week picture. I feel like I look a bit torpedoish. My belly is not so much round but just out there. Anyways... I have been feeling really good and Asay and I are healthy. What more can I ask for:)

Make it Pink

The first picture is of me at six weeks when we had just found out we were pregnant. The second picture is of me at half way (20 weeks) when we have just found out that we are having a baby GIRL! We were pretty convinced we were having a boy for whatever reasons... so we were a bit shocked. It took two seconds for the shock to wear off before we were both so excited!

Thriller and Pumpkins

This past week I went to Thriller down in SLC. It was awesome like always. I went with TJ's mom and sister. We only got this one picture. We were in our seats and the show was about to start. I wish I had a cooler picture to show for it but regardless it was super fun!

We had a little party at our friends house to carve our pumpkins. We did it a little too early, our pumpkins are already getting soggy. Oh well. Here is everyone hard at work.

TJ working on his masterpiece. Notice that the only green pumpkin belongs to TJ. He thought that was really neat:)
Everyone taking a break for a photo op.

The finished product. TJ's is kind of hard to see. It's just a face puking:)

3rd Anniversary

We had our three year anniversary on September 16th. We celebrated in Denver. TJ had a career fair at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO on the 15 so we decided to make a trip out of it. We stayed with Melanie and Braden. It was really good to see them! Ever since TJ delivered beer for C@H in Vernal he has always wanted to go to the Coors Brewery in Golden, Co. He finally got too:) He is so into the way things run and work and why thy do... so he was in heaven. Maybe thats why he is majoring in mechanical engineering. haha

These copper things are where they actually make the beer. The hops smell is overwhelming. We don't drink beer so it didn't even occur to us that the smell might make my very pregnant throw up reflex on high alert. We had to hurry through this part. I couldn't handle it. I was honestly dry heaving through it.

Our awesome hats. They are actually made out of the beer boxes. TJ's is Coors and mine is Keystone. Pretty dang sexy!
The tour really was cool but I think I liked the gift shop the best. We stayed forever just playing with everything. The tour, parking, shuttle and yes... the beer was free so it was pretty cool. Us and a couple of old ladies were the only people at the end asking for Dr. Pepper (One of the only alternatives to all the many kinds of beer they offer). Haha we got some funny looks:)

This is us pretending to play chess. I am winning if you cant tell.

We left Melanie's house on the last night to celebrate our anniversary. We thought staying in a hotel would be appropriate:)

It was hard to leave her. I miss getting to see her all the time.

We had mexican for dinner that night and look how huge this freaking burrito is. It is a good thing we shared it.

We went to a way fun aquarium one day that we were in Denver. This is us with the shark mascot.

Me in a little peep hole in the middle of a big aquarium.
TJ and a huge grouper. I think that is how you spell it. And last but not least... a weird little star fish.

Prego Details

This post is especially for my cousin Candice (who is only a few weeks ahead of me and wanting to know all the specifics) and anyone else who cares. I got my first ultrasound on August 27th. A friend in our ward just had a baby and recommended her doctor to me. So not being from Logan I took her advice and so far things are good. Going into the appointment I thought I was a day over 11 weeks. I found out however that the baby only measured 9 weeks and 4 days. So as you may imagine I was a little disappointed (that meant I had to be sick a week 1/2 longer then I had expected). Other then that, everything went really well. I forgot and the doctor forgot to give me my new due date but TJ and I are guessing March 28th or 29th. Just a funny little story... As I was waiting there on the table half naked, the nurse came in and said my female doctor had been paged for delivery. I totally understood(that may happen to others when it is my turn) and figured we would have to reschedule. She said she would try to find someone who could do the ultrasound because I was already there and "prepped":) TJ and I were fine with that. She came back a few minutes later saying there was a male P.A. that had time to do it. I was prepared for a woman so it took me a second to get a handle on that but we decided to go ahead. Then she said "by the way he has a male student with him...Do you mind if he comes in and observes." No big deal! Anyways it all turned out and thats the only way they learn right!

Party Time!

TJ turned 27 on the 15th! His family reunion happened to be this weekend also, so we celebrated on the mountain in a trailer. His mom made her famous chocolate cake. It was so yummy it didn't last long.

Here is TJ opening some of his gifts. The hat is from me. Lame you say...well I got him a mountain bike at the beginning of the summer and that was actually his birthday present. He got it early so he could actually use it before the good weather left and the snow started falling. I felt bad because I wanted him to open something on his birthday so he got an Aggies hat.

More gifts from family.

Here is our little family at the reunion. PS.. we slept in a tent and it rained... we were nearly drenched in the morning. No big deal, I love camping.

Half Blood Prince!

I went down to the Solomon Center in Ogden last night to see Harry Potter with my friend Karen and sister-in-law Elissa. Originally it was just Elissa and I going because the boys either weren't into it or had to work. We had assigned seating so we were way excited that we didn't have to go super early to get seats. Then yesterday around noon my friend Karen text me at work and said that there was a random seat open in the back row of the theater and wondered what seats we had. It just so happened that our seats were just a few seats down from that one so I told her to buy the ticket and we would work it out. Luckily this theater allows you to bring in your own food, so we got Costa Vida and took it in with us. We went early to try and catch someone that would be willing to trade or scoot down a seat. We found a lady and her daughter that were willing to switch seats with us so we could sit with Karen. We were so glad that it worked out. The movie was amazing! Loved it! Can't wait to see it again:)

Our puppies have recently turned 1 year old and so I thought I would post a few pictures of them. They were so cute when we first got them. I wish they could always look like puppies but be potty trained. These little shirts would not even fit one of their legs now.

My crazy puppies! Bauer was bigger at first but now Chloe outweighs him.

Me with my babies:)

Easter Continued

We went camping with TJ's family on Saturday. It rained most of the day but we went on a fourwheeler ride and hike anyways. That is probably why both of us ended up with sore throats and colds.

Here is TJ and the puppies. Actullay they aren't really puppies anymore, they both just turned one. They grow up so fast.

Here is Chole and Bauer playing in the Green River with their cousin Hurley. Sometimes they play really good together and sometimes not so much. Bauer thinks he is bigger then Hurley.

Tory, Bri and Amari were part of our camping group so we got to hang out with them. They are super fun and Amari is freaking adorable. Bri had to go find her brother Brogan because he was lost so I watched Amari for her. We were good friends for almost the whole time. Right before Bri got back Amari decided she hated me and cried her little heart out. I still love her though.

We went back to my parents house to see what the Easter Bunny brought us. We had a fun weekend besides the fact that we both got sick. It is always fun to see friends and family.

Easter

TJ and I went home to Vernal for Easter. It was way fun. I was able to go to lunch with Josie, Carly, Bri, Kelsy and little Brylee. We forgot to take a picture when all of us were there so it's just us three. It was really fun to sit and catch up though.
We colored Easter eggs with my family on Friday night. My neice was so cute. She picked out a coloring kit that came with all this princess stuff. My mom and her are wearing their crowns.Just showing off our eggs.

The finished product. We put princess stickers all over our eggs.
After we got done coloring eggs we went to dinner. My dad knocked over his drink (that was full) all over everything. He jokingly told the waitress that he was going to need a refill and she brought out this kids cup for him. We couldn't quit laughing. Madison thought it was great that grandpa had the same cup.

Too Legit

My sister Jonelle and I went to MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice last weekend in Orem and it was AWESOME! This is the best picture I had showing our shirts. For those of you who can not tell what is on my sisters shirt... it's a vanilla ice cream cone.

I didn't get any good pictures while Vanilla Ice was singing because we were to far back at that point. I know this picture is far away but just look really hard. They are in the middle and in front of the crowd. Hammer is in the red shirt and the Ice Man is in the black hat and shirt with the nasty huge silver chain. This was just before the last song of the night. After MC Hammer said a bunch of nice stuff about Vanilla Ice he said, "But you still can't touch this" and the music started. It was so awesome.

Here is a better picture of MC Hammer. Oh yes... he was wearing modern parachute pants. I just couldn't get a picture that really showed them. Tons of people dressed up for the concert. We saw plenty of guys who cut stairs into the sides of their heads. MC Hammer brought his thirteen year old son with him. The kid got his dads moves thats for sure.

The sound isn't great but you can see MC Hammer dancing and you can kind of see his pants. My camera was dying before he sang "Too Legit and Can't Touch this" so I only had enough juice to get a picture at the end. Anyways... this song is "Turn this Mother Out."

The next day I was able to go to lunch with all my sisters and my dad. It was a fun weekend.

I just wish Kristi could have come out too. We went to lunch and then the USU basketball game. They are kicking butt this year so it was awesome. TJ's sister Elissa and her husband Spencer and some people in his family came to the game with us but I didn't get a picture of them.
Jonelle and I at the game.
My super cute nephew Henry. His little shoes were the cutest thing I had ever seen. This is not a very good picture of them.
