Spring

We went to baby animal days a couple of weeks ago with Will and Tiarra. It was so fun and cute to see Asay with all the animals. She LOVED the goats. I think she thought they were dogs.

Hanging out with Ryann.

She was trying to give the goat hay.

Giving the baby duck a kiss.

The Mortons go camping every Easter. We just went up for the day. We went a super fun hike. We took little kids and dogs and a pregnant Elissa so it was a bit crazy.

Asay with Grandma, Spence, and Elissa

I wish you could really see Asay's little mischievous smile. She is starting to make the cutest and funniest faces.

Apparently she likes Black Eyed Peas. She always throws off headphones when we put them on her but this time she just sat and listened.

25th Day

25th Day- What would be found in my bag/purse

So I am going to add diaper bag to the mix. You will find my two wallets(not because I have so much money but because I haven't transferred everything over yet), phone, keys, camera, zune and headphones, chapstick, pens, tampons, bobby pins, extra hair tie, my little pharmaceutical stash(advil, tylenol, acid reducer, and motion sickness meds, teething tablets), Asay's medical records(weird I know) sippee full of water, diapers, wipes, toys, cheerios, gold fish, a headband Asay wore last week (that I just knew I had lost), sunblock, desitin, and hand sanitizer.

22nd Day

22nd Day- What makes me different from everybody else.

I have an adorable nose twitch. Just kidding... it's not adorable but it does make me different from everyone else. I know it's weird but I don't care because it makes me unique. I have come to terms with it over the years.

19th and 20th Day

19th Day- Nicknames I have and how I got them

Starting when I was young...

Popcorn: My hair was super blonde when I was little and my mom ALWAYS kept my hair super short and in a perm so my grandpa Shumway nicknamed me popcorn.

Veronasaurous: All I can say about this nickname is that I grew up in Dinosaurland.

Vern: I still go by this nickname. I can't remember all the specifics of how I got it but I think it was my friend Candace that gave it to me in middle school. I think?

It turned into Vernie which then turned into Vernie Chapoose (Thanks Luke). This is actually the name of a kid I went to highschool with and I am pretty sure he never knew I got a nickname from him. Then Beth shortened it to just Poose after the movie Orange County came out because of the little boy that is obsessed with his pooty(binkee). I really didn't mind this nickname until the boys started taking it the wrong way.

Volture: Coy gave me this nickname in graphic arts. He was giving everyone an animal nickname and of course he came up with a v animal to match my v name. How clever:)

V-Ron: I got this one in college and it is pretty self explanatory.

V-Dizzle(or V-diz): I got this nickname when TJ and I moved to Logan. The girls at my work started calling me this and then the PA and the Doc started in as well.

20th Day- Someone I think I will marry

I definitley choose this guy!

18th Day

18th Day-Plans/Dreams/Goals I have

I am super excited for the next couple of years. TJ will graduate next May with his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. This coming summer he will be interning with Rio Tinto in Salt Lake. We hear that the chances of getting hired on full time are pretty good if you have interned with them. We have high hopes for that. Just a little side note here... I am so proud of TJ. He has worked so hard and done so well. It is such a hard and demanding degree and I am so glad he has stuck with it. There are only a couple guys left from his original study group that he formed when he started school I am not kidding. I get so anxious when I look at his homework. But he has been hanging in there and has been working his butt off to get this internship. Back to the original post. There are not words to describe how I feel about purchasing our first house and buying a new(or new to me) nicer vehicle that has more room. At this point, I am totally content with Asay. I do not feel the urge to give her a sibling. I feel like it would be a huge disservice to make her an only child for several reasons but I am still unsure about the kid department. I hope to go back to school someday but TJ is the top priority. I am excited for the day that TJ will be home everyday by 5:00pm or 6:00pm. I hope to finally really lose some weight and to also be a good mom. I plan to learn more about the gospel so that I can be a better teacher to Asay. I could go on forever so I will just quit with this.

17th Day

17th Day- A picture of someone that I would like to switch places with for a day and why

I would love to switch places with TJ for a day. Since Asay was born we have taken on different roles. I was suppose to go back to work part time but that never happened. So now I stay home with Asay and TJ is at school and work all day. Every so often we have days where we don't understand each other and forget to appreciate what the other person is doing. I would love the opportunity for us to REALLY see what the other person goes through.

3. Zak & Sara (Ben Folds)

4. Young Forever (Jay-Z + Mr. Hudson)

5. Musicology (Prince)
