Swim Time!

Asay loves the water. The lake water was a little cold for her but she still enjoyed putting her feet in. Here are just a few pictures of her swimming adventures.
This was Asay just finishing her bath after we got home from the lake.

Our little flower.

California

We went to California this past week with my parents, sister and some of my neices. We went to Disneyland, California Adventures and SeaWorld. I had never been to any of these places until now so I was pretty excited. I was super nervous to go through security with Asay but it was way smooth both ways. Here we are in the airplane. She looks mad but she was such a trooper on both plane rides and the whole trip actually.
We were lucky enough to see a protest going on right outside the front entrance of Disneyland. Here are the mounted police that were blocking traffic for it.
Here are the angry protesters. You cant see it very well from this picture but a lot of them were wearing creepy micky mouse masks. We never got the story of why they were protesting.
We were pretty excited that we were able to take Asay on a few rides with us. We took her on Pirates of the Caribbean, the Jungle Cruise, Storyland Ride, and It's a Small World. This picture was on the Jungle Cruise while we were getting splashed with water.

We went to breakfast with the Princesses. We saw Ariel, Cinderella, Bell, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White. We got pictures with all of them but I only posted this one.
I thought this was coca cola but it is actually supposed to be red paint.

We saw this restaurant just down from the park. Of course we had to eat there. So on our way back, all sweaty and stinky, we stopped to have dinner. Turns out it is a super nice place. We were totally underdressed and disgusting. They definitely were not baby oriented. Needless to say they put us in the corner. It was super yummy though.
My dad bought Asay mouse ears and got her name put on the back. It is so to big but so cute.

We went to the beach while we were there and it was such a different experience with a baby. We had just got everyting set up and everyone but my sister and I headed for the water. I decided to change Asay's diaper and got an awesome suprise. I did not realize that she had pooped clear up her back until I already had it on my swimsuit and the towel underneath her. She ended up getting it on her face and everywhere. So we put her back in her clothes for the rest of the day.

We went to Bubba Gump for dinner one of the nights. Forest Gump is one of my dads favorite movies so we enjoyed the trivia questions. It is always a fun place to eat. We took tons of pictures.

I didn't get very many pictures at SeaWorld but that is where the next couple of pictures came from.

We were at SeaWorld until they kicked us out. It was awesome. We got the tickets that let you into things without having to wait in line. Totally worth the extra 40 bucks. We were able to see every show, most of the exhibits and ride almost all the rides. When we went through the exhibit with the Walruses we were the only people there so we got a lot of attention. They gave us kisses through the glass. When we waved they would spin around. It was pretty awesome.I can't remember what the name of the ride was called but it is the one in the middle of the park that goes up and down. We were riding it when they did fireworks and the girl operating the ride let us just sit a the top until they finished. Just a side note... for all you Glee lovers... TJ is sporting the puck hawk.
I had to get a picture with the Harry Potter stars.
She was done. She was so good though.

Eclipse

I went to Eclipse on Wednesday afternoon with Karen and my sisters-in-law Elissa and Crysta. We went to an awesome theatre in Ogden. It was huge. I swear these movies just keep getting better and better. It was so good! We were waiting for Karen to get to the theatre and ended up taking so many pictures with the card board cut outs. Here are just a few.
I am actually a fan of both boys.

Our awesome prom picture.
I had to get a picture with Karen.
