Love, Love, Love

If you are in a slump and looking for something to read... look no further. Seriously, I absolutely loved this book. My dad claimed that the author is from the area where I grew up. She was doing a book signing at a bookstore there. My dad is all about supporting locals so he went not knowing anything about the author or her book. He read it and liked it and gave it to me to read. I was skeptical to say the least (maybe that's why I liked it so much). My dad usually reads books about the stock market or things from Glenn Beck so I was completely suprised by the book. I'm still laughing about the fact that my dad liked it:)

Anyways... it has romance, suspense and mystery. Loved it!

Farewell Fall

We have really enjoyed the fall and all the beauty it brings. Farewell until next year. I don't know about the rest of you but we already have plenty of snow up this direction. I took these pictures on our street. We have a lovely swamp behind our condo that brings in lots of unwanted bugs but it makes for pretty colors in the fall.

Oh Sandy

We had a blast this year for Halloween. We watched a ton of movies and ate way too much candy.

I was so excited to take Asay Trick-or-Treating this year but she is still a little young for it. I have never thought of her as being scared of things but Halloween kind of freaked her out:) We went to the American West Heritage Center with Jonelle to go Trick-or-Treating. They had animals and activities for the kids. I think Asay had a great time.

We went down to Ogden for the Drake Halloween party. It was so fun. Games, movies, fun costumes, good food and treats even with the weird homemade Rootbeer:)

So I was suppose to be opposite of Asay's costume but as you can see my skirt did not turn out Red. I found it at the DI and it was a minty green color. It was honestly the most hideous thing I had ever seen. I dyed it then added the record. It turned out pretty well considering what it started out as.

Asay was so scared of Nate until we told her he was just being silly. She wasn't totally convinced but she could at least look at him without crying.

Aint that the Truth

I have never loved running like so many people I envy. I have gone through phases where I get over it and just do it and then phases where I forget what the inside of a gym looks like.

18 months

I'm so in love with how these turned out. TJ's cousin Shelli Greene took these for us. She's so talented and I could not be happier. I also stole this off her facebook page. Hope that's okay.

18 months

Asay's 18 month stats

Weight: 20.8lbs, 5%

Height: 31inches, 30%

Head: 18 1/4inches, 55%

I promise I feed my child. My mom and TJ's mom both had small kiddos. She was doomed from the start. Asay has gained just less than 4lbs in the past year. I didn't know that was weird. Apparently it is.

Asay loves shoes, hats, Bauer and other animals, Minnie Mouse, stuffed animals, bracelets, putting socks on her hands, books, books, books, nursery rhymes(especially row, row, row, your boat) eye spy challenges, her princess potty, her bike, her daddy and putting elastics in her mouth and on her wrists(I find her with purple hands...scary)

Just to name a few.

Silly Girl

Asay loves shoes but she will make anything work. I am constantly finding her with different random things on her feet. She makes my heart so happy:)

Friends and Football

We went to the first home game this past week and it was actually pretty fun. I was nervous with Asay but she enjoyed it and clapped whenever someone else clapped. We won so that didn't hurt either.
Asay and Karen
We love Casey and Karen. Before Asay was born we joked that we were in a marriage of four because we hung out every day or every other day. We lived a couple condo's down from each other so us girls would go to one house and watch Grey's Anatomy, American Idol, or the Bachelorette(just examples) and the boys would go to the other and nerd(play xbox). They moved down to Ogden a while ago and now we don't see them very often. We miss you guys! Sorry Asay spilled coke on your pants Casey:)

We went to Vernal a couple of weekends ago for Derek and Josie's baby blessing. We are always on the go when we are in Vernal going back and forth between parents and friends. It's always a good time though.

Asay has always loved sunglassed but she seemed to love my niece's more than any others. We had to finally take them off her.

Asay loves Madison or Mad( which is what Asay calls her) and her new kitty.

We went to the football game to watch Amber dance.


We went to the lake with some of TJ's family and it turned out to be a blast.

Crysta came up and stayed a few days with us and now Asay's always saying tis-ta.

Last First

TJ had his Last First day of school on Monday. I am so glad he will be finished in May but it's also way crazy to think about. We have been waiting for this forever and now that it's finally here it's a little scary. We have to be grown ups:/
