8th and 9th Day

So I have already messed up on my 30 Day Blogger challenge. So I will just do the two days together.

8th Day... Short term goals for this month and why.

• I have taken on some projects for Asay's birthday party decorations. When I started I didn't think they would be that hard or take that long to make. I was wrong. They weren't hard but they took forever.
• Get my house cleaned before family gets in town for the party.
• Finish Eat Pray Love so I can finally watch the movie that I have had since Christmas.
• Save money...always
• Go on more walks with Asay and Bauer as the weather gets nicer.
• Visit Alisha and baby Parx:)

9th Day...Something that I am proud of in the last few days.

I finished this super cute picture frame (actually two of them) that I have been working on for Asay's party. I had to find all these random wood pieces, stain them, paint them, paint them again, distress them, and glue together in sections. It was quite the process but they turned out so darn cute. I will post pictures of them when I post about Asay's party.

7th Day

7th Day... Someone that has the biggest impact on me.

My parents are the first people who ever made an impact on my life. They gave me life and then continued to support me in everything that I have done. They are two of the greatest people with the biggest hearts. They continue to give me great advice. I have only been a mom for a year but I already respect them both 100 times more.

I can't imagine life without TJ. I know that sounds so cliche but he is so amazing. He has been such a huge impact on my life. He has taught me that there are several ways to view life. I have watched him accomplish so many amazing things in the course of our marriage and he continues to teach me everyday. He is my eternal companion and my sweetheart.

Being a mom is the most terrifying, challenging, and absolutely gratifying adventure I have ever been a part of. Asay has definitely been the biggest impact on my life. Everything before her has just led and prepared me for this ultimate role. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to be a mother. I had no idea how proud I could feel over watching my daughter find her fingers for the first time or for cutting her first tooth. I am eternally grateful to my heavenly father for these truly inspiring and wonderful people in my life.

6th Day

6th Day... favorite superhero and why.

I was totally going to say Superman cause he is just awesome in every way but as I was trying to find a cool picture of him I stumbled across this one instead. So to be honest, I actually think the Comedian is totally depressing and I didn't love Watchmen (I couldn't even finish it) but I am totally smitten with Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Birthday and 5th Day

Asay turned a year old today. I can't even believe how fast the time has gone. We already had a little party for her in Vernal last weekend but I am waiting to post pictures until we have her actual party this weekend. I had to post one of her year old pictures on her birthday though. More to come. This little girl has been such a blessing and I am so glad she is mine:)

5th Day... Somewhere I have been to.

TJ and I went to Mazatlan, Mexico for our honeymoon. It was such a fun trip. I would love to go again some day.

4th Day

4th Day... A habit I wish I could break.

So maybe I shouldn't admit this but I can have quite the potty mouth. I am really REALLY hoping to get it under control before Asay starts repeating what I say. So does TJ.
