Happy St. Paddy's Day!

1st Day... Current picture of me and 15 interesting facts about myself.

Taken last night

1. I am the youngest of six children.

2. TJ and I only dated for four months before we got engaged.

3. I have a nose twitch:)

4. I hated reading until I was 22. Harry Potter changed everything:)

5. I am a licensed master esthetician but I rarely have use for my license.

6. After growing up with an English Bulldog, I swore I would never own a dog. Since then TJ and I have owned 4.

7. There are 16 years between my oldest brother and myself.

8. I don't have a smart phone and plan to hold out as long as I can. TJ is working on me.

9. I get so much amusement from watching Asay watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

10. I haven't paid full price for a pair of jeans since around the time I got married.

11. I go to Old Navy at least once a week. Not that I always buy something but I love looking at their baby stuff.

12. I own a PS3, X Box, and Wii and I don't play any of them.

13. I prefer vegetables to fruit any day.

14. I could be moving to SLC within the next year.

15. I will watch the same movie over and over again for a month straight before I move on to the next one. Right now it's "Easy A."

The Mullet is No Longer!

Elissa cut Asay's hair for the first time this past week. We only cut the back cause it was turning into quite the mullet and now the front and sides have caught up. It is so funny how babies hair grows.

Asay would not sit still to let Elissa cut her hair. This mirror worked great as a distraction. She kept giving herself kisses.

My sisters birthday is 4 days after mine so we met up to have a birthday lunch. I put the ribbon off a present on Asay and she thought it was so much fun.

My nine year old neice Jean made this adorable blanket for Asay. My neices are so talented. Jean's older sister Cortney made an adorable dress for Asay when Asay was too little for any at the store and my neice Allie made an awesome diaper bag for me. I would not have been able to make anything like that when I was their age.

One Year Older!

This past Saturday was my birthday. Hurray! I am finally getting to the age that I would be just fine if I never had another birthday. I was not good at taking pictures so here a just a few. We met TJ's family in SLC for the big hunting expo(which wasn't too bad actually), then went to the Gateway for some shopping and dinner. We watched the Super Bowl at Casey and Karen's house and she made me a tasty cake:)

Asay's first time in a jungle gym. She didn't really care for it.

On our car ride down to SLC we turned around and found a little pirate instead of our girlie:)

They sang to me at the restaurant and brought me a treat. Isn't this the best picture of me!

The Holiday Season

The week before Christmas we went to Vernal for the annual Morton Christmas party. We all met up at the Rec Center. We ate great food, opened presents from Grandma Morton(she still gets a personalized gift for each person, what a sweetheart) and the kids went swimming.

My niece Madison grabbed all these cookies and put chocolate milk in this clifford sippee for Santa. It was really cute how worried she was about what Santa and his reindeer would eat.

TJ's sister Amber made this adorable blanket for Asay.

Some of Asay's favorite new toys. She took off on this thing the first time she used it. She loves it.

Weebles wobble but they don't fall down. She loves these things. I didn't even know they exsisted. Thanks mom and Jonelle.

Asay loves dogs. She especially loves dogs with longer hair. This is her playing with my sister-in-law Crysta's dog Benny.

This is my Grandma Shumway. We named Asay after her so this picture means a lot to me. By the way... I have had a lot of people ask me how to pronounce Asay's name. Think A.C., like A.C. Slater or ACDC.

I had my video camera out all night so this is the only picture I got from New Years Eve. We met up with my family in Lehi at my brother's house. We ate yummy food, talked and talked and played Twilight scene it. Asay's walker was a hit with all of her cousins.
